How do I find User Reporting?

You can find User Reporting via Reports > Users. Clicking it will bring you to this page:

Here you will see:

  1. Engagement (detailed below, but also has a legend in the graph to depict what each line type/color means)

    1. Total Users

      1. Total users on the platform

    2. Unique Logins

      1. Unique logins for that month

    3. Engagement %

      1. The % Of users who engaged with content on the platform

Scrolling down, you can see a list of all the Users on the platform. Here each user has a breakdown of the following:

  1. User - The name of the User

  2. Time Spent - Time the user spent on the platform

  3. Assigned - Amount of assigned courses to the user

  4. In Progress - Amount of in-progress courses

  5. Completed - Amount of courses the user has completed

  6. Total Views - The total amount of times the user has viewed learning on the platform.

Above, you can also search for users and download an overview report. The Report will include the following rows:

  1. Account ID -This is either their email or a string depending on if they are using an email or a word.

  2. First Name

  3. Last Name

  4. Email Address - User's Email

  5. Job title - User's Job Title

  6. User Role - User's Role (Admin, User, Content Creator, Etc.)

  7. Active - If the user is active or not

  8. Last Seen - Last time the user was logged into the platform.

  9. Time Spent - Time spent in learning/completing courses.

  10. Courses and Courses in Playlists - The number of courses and courses in playlists assigned.

  11. Courses - Assigned - Number of courses assigned to the user.

  12. Courses - In Progress - Number of courses in-progress/started

  13. Courses - Completed - Number of courses completed

  14. Courses - Failed - Number of courses failed

  15. Playlist - Assigned - Number of playlists assigned to user.

  16. Playlist - In Progress - Number of in-progress/started playlists

  17. Playlist - Completed - Number of completed playlists

  18. Total Views - The amount of times the user has viewed the platform/courses.

The downloaded Report will show the same data as you see on the page but in a more data-oriented format. This way, you will have a clear, concise, detailed report of the data you see on screen.

Clicking on any of the users will bring you to their specific reporting page which covers all the learning and reporting data for that user. You can find the relevant articles here in the help center.

The view you see, once you click a user, matches the user's view when they navigate to their For You page:

When downloading the specific user report, the following columns will be included:

  1. Title - Name of the course

  2. Status - Status of the course completion

  3. Archived - If the course is archived or active

  4. Time Spent - Amount of time spent on the course

  5. Started - When the course was started

  6. Completed - When the course was completed

  7. Views - How many times the user has viewed the course

  8. Required - If the course was required or optional

How is the Data Calculated?

It is important to keep in mind that in Reports > Users table & Courses (by clicking the user), Archived courses still appear and are factored into the Statistics. So if a course is Not Started, and then is Archived, it will still factor into the user statistics as Not Started and will contribute towards the relevant data.

In the example shown above, you can see one user has 4 assigned courses, but clicking that user will show some different data. This is expected and intended.

Here, you can see that they are assigned 6 courses. 2 of the courses are Archived, with 1 of them being Complete and 1 of them Not Started. If the course is Not Started, and then is Archived, this will still actively contribute to the Course Completion circle graph.

Take note that the time will be displayed in UTC format when exported to Excel. This ensures standardized time representation, maintaining accuracy and consistency for a seamless understanding of the data.
