Data mapping from eloomi People to eloomi Infinite

When upgrading to your new eloomi Infinite instance, some data will not get migrated from your old platform to your new eloomi instance. While we strive to achieve feature parity between the old eloomi and eloomi Infinite, certain features have been deprecated and replaced with new and better solutions.

Note:

  • We migrate data only once from your old platform to your new eloomi instance

  • The overview below gets updated regularly as we are constantly building new eloomi Infinite features and as the migration tool is upgraded regularly.

What Content is migrated?

Online Modules

Online Modules are migrated as Courses

Not Migrated

Migrated

Active modules with:

  • Title

  • Description - (HTML tags are removed and combined with the extended description)

  • Duration

  • Cover image

  • Author

  • Categories/ Topics (check Categories section*)

  • All the module steps*

Archived Modules

What steps of Online Modules are migrated and how?

Steps in Online Modules are migrated as Pages in Courses.

Please note that Steps without a name are not migrated.

Does Assignments and Completions migrate?

Note: All Users (active and inactive) are migrated as Inactive. Once ready to launch, the Admin should activate Users and trigger an Activation email notifications to allow Users to set up a new password for Infinite. If SSO is the preferred login method, the Admin can opt out of triggering the Activation email notification when activating Users.

What User-related Data is migrated?

Departments & Teams

Departments are migrated as Hierarchies

Teams are migrated as Standard Groups

Not Migrating

Migrating

  • Assignments made to Departments and Teams are not migrated as Group Assignments in Infinite - instead they will migrate as Direct Assignments

  • Departments will be migrated as Hierarchy Groups and Teams will be migrated as Standard Groups

  • Manager and User association to Departments and Teams will migrate, but this will be static data, meaning Rules must be applied to achieve dynamic User allocation

What Performance Data is migrated?

Appraisals

In Infinite, the equivalent feature capability to Appraisals in People is Journeys

However, we do not support migrating Appraisal processes

  • Appraisal processes are not migrated

  • Performance Goals and any related data is not migrated

  • PDFs from active Appraisal processes will be migrated and placed in a new Journey called Historical documents
