Description
Surveys provide valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making, enhance customer and employee satisfaction, and ensure long-term business success. Below you will see the steps and different options for setting up Surveys.
This feature is a part of the eloomi Plus Plan.
How do I create a Survey?
Creating a Survey is easy! Simply click on Admin (top menu) > Surveys (from the left sidebar);
From there, you will either see a blank page or other Surveys if someone else set up some already.
Selecting "New" will bring you to this page:
Here you will choose if the Survey will be a General or Learning Survey.
General Surveys are sent out individually and can be more broad
Learning Surveys will only be able to be linked to Learning items. Courses, Learning Plans, Events, etc.. Read more about assigning surveys to learning content
Keep in mind that once it is set to Learning or General, it cannot be changed.
After selecting survey type, you will see this page:
Here you can add a Survey Title. Below, you will see that there are no questions added to the Survey yet. Clicking the "+ Add Question" button will bring up this side menu with the options for questions:
Here you have these options:
Open Text
Open Text allows for the Admin/Survey creator to ask a question that the employees can type and answer as they see fit. This would be a useful option for any survey that you need a more open-ended question/answer to.
Multiple Choice
With Multiple Choice, you can ask a question and set specific answers for that question that your employees must choose from. Multiple Choice Surveys are versatile and can be used in various contexts, such as customer satisfaction assessments, market research, product feedback, employee evaluations, and more.
Rating Scale´
Rating Scale Surveys provide quantifiable data, allowing your company to measure respondents' opinions and sentiments numerically. This quantitative data can be analyzed statistically, providing precise insights into customer satisfaction, employee morale, product preferences, and more!
Change the order of questions with drag & drop
When creating your survey, you can always quickly change the order of questions using drag & drop.
Question Settings
There is currently only 1 setting for both Open Text and Multiple Choice questions which is the "Required Question" option. This will make the question required for the completion of the Survey.
With Rating Scale questions on the other hand, you have the Required option, as well as how high you want the rating scale to go/how many steps, and the option to also label each rating (different label for each number 1-10) Keep in mind that the rating scale maxes out at 10 steps.
