What and Where is the Content Store?

Disclaimer: Importing Courses from the Content Store is a paid feature!

The Content Store is a database of almost 75,000 courses and modules that you can access on your eloomi Infinite platform all with the touch of a single button. These courses range from web design, cybersecurity, customer support skills to crane safety on a construction site. There is something for everyone!

The Content Store can be accessed by navigating to: Admin > Learning > Content Store:

Clicking on the Content Store button will bring you to this screen:

From here, you are able to search the database for course that you are interested in. In addition, there are specific filters that you can use such as topics, duration, content type and more!

How Do I Import Courses from the Content Store?

First, you must purchase a plan from eloomi to use the Content Store. You can read more about that here.

Once you have a plan, the steps are easy!

  1. Navigate to: Admin > Learning > Content Store. Once there, click any of the Courses you wish to import to the platform:

  2. In this window, you will see the option to import the Course as well as a few other general pieces of information regarding the course.

How do I import a Learning plan from the Content Store?

Importing Learning plans is very similar to importing a Course, except it automatically pulls and creates a Learning plan with multiple Courses. You first have to navigate to Admin > Learning > Content Store:

Here, you can see the option for Content Type. Click this, and select Learning plan.

Here, you can see there are a large number of already curated and put together Learning plans. Clicking a Learning plan will bring you into its overview, scroll down and you can see the description, plus what Courses are included.

If you only want a few Courses that are in the Learning plan, you can click the checkbox on it and then click Import. This will only import the selected Courses.

For the sake of this article, we will be importing the whole Learning Plan. Click Import at the top, and you will see the following:

Here, you can choose to import the Categories & Topics with the Learning plan, and allow the Courses to be open for Self-Enrollment and/or Open for Manager Enrollment. Select your desired settings, then click Import.

Within a few minutes, the Courses and Learning plan will be available for assignment in Admin > Learning.

Important: If you see the Get Access button instead of the Import button, this means that you do not have a Content Store plan. Clicking the Get Access button will provide you with a rundown of what is included in the plan, how much it is, and the option to get in touch with our team via chat.

How does Content Replacement work?

Content Replacements introduces a structured, in‑place workflow for replacing retired Go1 courses without disrupting existing learner assignments or administrator configurations.

To find what content is retiring soon, first navigate to Admin > Learning > Content Store, and from there select Retirements in the left sidebar.

Here, you can see the list of Courses retiring soon in the Pending menu. In this menu you can see:

  1. Content

    1. Name of the Course expiring soon

  2. Status

    1. If the Course is Expired or Expiring soon

  3. Assignments

    1. How many learners are assigned to the Course

  4. Certification

    1. Will be grey if no certificate is attached, and a blue tick if a certificate is attached.

  5. Impact

    1. There are 4 levels of impact depending on the amount of learners assigned:

      1. Low

      2. Medium

      3. High

      4. Critical

The Retired Courses are always sorted in order of highest impact to lowest impact. With any Courses with a lot of assignments, required assignments, or upcoming deadlines appearing at the top of the list, and Courses without at the bottom.

However, you do still have the option to apply additional filters:

You can filter for:

  1. Certification (Yes/No)

    1. If the Course has a Certificate attached.

  2. Requirement (Required/Optional)

    1. If the Course is Required or Optional for a Learner to complete.

  3. Impact Level

    1. Low, Medium, High, or Critical

  4. Retirement Timeline

    1. Pick a date (specific date)

    2. Next 7 days

    3. Next 14 days

    4. Next 30 days

By hovering over any Course that has yet to Retire, you can click to Replace. You can also choose to Dismiss the replacement, and let the Course retire without a replacement Course.

Upon clicking to Replace the Course, this menu will appear. Here, you are provided with a list of Suggested alternatives for retirement Courses based on how similar they are to the retired Course. If none of them match your needs, you can also search through any other Courses from Go1 in the Available courses list.

Select a Course and click Replace. You will then be brought to the following menu:

Verify that the details are correct, and select Confirm. Once you complete the replacement, the Course will appear in the Resolved tab in the Retirements menu.

Here, it will display the original Course, the Replacement Course, the amount of assignments, and who handled the replacement.

Additionally, by clicking the three dots (...) when hovering over the Replacement or by clicking the button next to the search icon, you can open an Activity Log. This will show you the Retirement history with more details on who replaced what, and when.

You can also export the log directly from this menu as an excel file containing the following information:

  1. Course id

  2. Original title

  3. Replacement title

  4. Action taken

  5. Processed by

  6. Processed at (UTC)
