You can add a cover image, course title, duration, and course description. Click Add page to create a new page in your Course. The Overview to the right outlines all pages of the Course.

As a Play or Plus subscriber, you also have access to the feature Categories & Topics. Use Categories & Topics to tag your Courses and group your Courses into a specific category or topic. Learn more about Categories & Topics here.

Add a page title and click on Add content. Here you can see the different Content Blocks and options within those content types.

You can choose the following options for adding Text & Media: Text, Image, Video, PDF, Podcast, Iframe, Attachment.

  • Text: add a block of text

  • Images: add images as .jpg or .png files. To see image size recommendation click here

  • Videos: add videos as .mov, .mp4, .avi, .wmv, .mpegs, .webm files. If you are looking to embed videos in your learning platform from an external hosting website, you can use the "iFrame" option.

  • Iframe: use the Iframe option to share links and embed other websites. The Iframe-option requires that the hosting website allows for embedding.

On the right side, you can choose further settings for your knowledge check.

Quiz & Tests as a Content Block offers the ability to set up a formal quiz. Here, you can add single and multiple-choice questions, a rating scale, open text answers, and provide the option for the person to upload a file.

You can read more about Quizzes here: How to Use Quizzes

After creating your content, click on Assign to assign the course to your people.

How to Upload a SCORM file

As a Play or Plus subscriber, you can also upload your existing SCORM files to your platform. There are two options on how to do this: (1) Create a SCORM Course or (2) Add a SCORM page to an in-platform built Course.

(1) To create a SCORM Course, navigate to Admin > Learning > Courses. Click on New and choose Upload SCORM file.

Upload or drag your file in the field as illustrated below. When you are done with the Course creation process, click on Assign to distribute your Course.

(2) Adding a SCORM page to an in-platform built Course allows you to combine SCORM content with the other Course Blocks available in the Course Builder to tailor your learning experiences.

To add a SCORM page, navigate to Admin > Learning > Courses and click on New and choose Build Course. From here, simply click Add Page. Once you do so you will see the option to add a SCORM page. Select SCORM page and you will see the following:

Add a SCORM file to the page, and you will see the following options:

You can either Reset the SCORM progress (this resets the progress for all assigned users and cannot be undone), Replace the file with a new SCORM file, or click the three dots in the top right to either Download or Delete the block.

Here, you can manage assignment settings. If you set a Course as Required it will be assigned as a mandatory training. You can also assign the Course with a Deadline. After managing the assignment settings, click on Next and finish by clicking Confirm.

Only people that are on your platform can see your Courses. To assign Courses to your colleagues, you need to create them as people and invite them to your platform.
