Include inactive users in statistics

Where will inactive users be shown in reporting if Include inactive users in statistics is enabled?

When enabled, the "Include inactive users in statistics" setting (located in Admin>Settings>Reporting) inactive users will be included in multiple locations throughout your platform.

Inactive users will be visible within the Teams & People (Manager Space) under conversations

These inactive users will similarly appear when viewing all conversations.

Inactive users will also appear under Teams & People Learning and within the downloadable Learning Report.

You will additionally find inactive users listed on Teams & People Journeys as well as the Journey downloadable report


Course Report

When Include Inactive Users in Statistics is enabled, profiles which are inactive will influence the data contained within course reporting. The calculation of "Average courses per user" will include inactive users

As will the Assigned and Completed data

When a report is downloaded as an excel file, the Assigned and Completed columns will similarly include inactive users. This will occur in the Course reporting

Assignment reporting

And Learning Plan assignment reporting

When viewing an individual course page, inactive users will be included when calculating the values for Assigned users, Users in progress, Users completed, and Completion

Inactive users will similarly be included within Quiz insights for Average score on first attempt, Average time to completion, Average attempts until completion, and Users completed

Inactive users will also be found in the assigned users list for the course

When viewing the Quiz insights Full report inactive users will be included when calculating Average score on first attempt, Average time to completion, Average attempts to completion, and Users completed

Responses submitted on the quiz by inactive users will be displayed for the quiz

Focus Modes

When switching to the Quiz focus mode, inactive users will be listed

Similarly, when using the Certifications focus mode, certifications issued to inactive users will be included in the results.

When downloading the individual course report as an excel file, inactive users will be included with a Active column status of FALSE


Events Report

When viewing event reports, inactive users will be included when calculating the attendance percentages as well as the assigned user count.

When downloading the Events report as an excel document inactive users will be included in the "Assigned" column value and the Completed column percentage

Within an individual event report inactive users will be included in Assigned users, Signed up, In progress, and Completed as well as being listed in the Users list

When viewing the event Sessions, inactive users will be counted for the Signed up, Attended, Unattended, and Cancelled values

Inactive users will additionally appear when switching to Focus mode: Certifications

And within the Certification report excel file


Learning plans Report

When viewing the learning plan report, inactive users will be considered when calculating Average learning plans per user, Average completion, Total learning plans completion, Majority completion, Assigned users, and Completed.

The Learning plans report excel file will include the inactive users when calculating Average Completed Steps %, Assigned Users, and Completed values

When viewing a report for an individual learning plan, inactive users will be included in Assigned users, Users in progress, Users completed, and Total completion.

The Learning plan Certification insights will similarly include inactive users in Compliance rate, Total issued certifications, Voluntary completion rate, New certifications issued in the last 30 days, as well as being listed in the Users list

The downloadable user report excel file will include inactive users. These inactive users can be identified by the FALSE value in the Active column

Inactive users will also be found within Focus mode: Certifications

When switching to the Courses tab, inactive users will be included in the values for Not started, In progress, Complete, and Avg. completion time

The downloadable course report excel file will include inactive users in values for Users Started, Users Completed, Users Not Started, and Average Completion Time

When switching to the Events tab, inactive users will be included in the values for Signed up, On waiting list, Attended, Unattended, and Cancelled

The downloadable event report excel file will include inactive users in values for Signed up, On waiting list, Attended, Unattended, and Cancelled


People Report

The People report will include inactive users in Engagement values as well as in the People list

The downloadable People report excel file will also contain inactive users. These inactive users can be identified by the FALSE value in the Active column


Groups Report

When viewing the Groups report, inactive users will be included in the values for Average users per group, Employees, Business Title %, Required Completion %, and Optional completion %

Within the downloadable Groups report excel file, inactive users will be included in the values for Employees, Business Title Completion, Required Completion, and Optional Completion


Goals

When Include inactive users in statistics is enabled, there is no change to Goals reporting.


Skills Report

Within the Skills report, inactive users will be included in the values for Employees covered, Employees skills data, Employees with skill, Distribution, and Completion %

When looking at Business titles, inactive users will be included in the values for Employees and Completion %


Segment Reporting

In Segment reporting, inactive users will be included in the Members count and completion percentages

Within the Segment reporting downloadable excel file, inactive users will be included in the calculation for the completion percentage.
