Overview

Relationships on eloomi Infinite are very similar to Custom Roles. With Relationships, you can define employee relationships, and allow people to engage with specific steps of an employee Journey/HR workflow, such as performance reviews or 360 feedback.

How to create a new Relationship

First, you must navigate to Admin > Settings > Relationships

Once there, click New relationship, it will prompt you to name the Relationship. Once you do so, you can just click Create. It will then be added to the list of Relationships below.

Keep in mind that Supervisor is the default Relationship and cannot be deleted.

If you made a spelling mistake or would like to delete the Relationship, you can click the three dots next to it, and click either Edit or Delete. Keep in mind that when a Relationship is Deleted we have no way of recovering it. So if it is deleted, it is gone for good and will need to be created again.

How to assign a Relationship to a user

The process of assigning relationships is pretty simple. Simple navigate to a user profile via Admin > Organization > Edit user. Once you are in their profile, navigate to the Relationships area.

This is where you can then add the Relationships. Simply click the drop-down, search for a user, and select them to add them. You can also add multiple users for each Relationship.

Once you find the users you want to add, click Confirm Changes in the top right. Once this is done, the user is all set!

How to import Relationships from a file

You can also create Relationships in bulk by importing the roles from a file. To do so, from the Relationships page, click the Import button.

From here, you are able to upload an excel file with your Relationships by clicking the link or with drag and drop.

For the best result, we recommend you download the import template and make sure the relationships (incl. spelling) in your file match the exact relationships created in your platform.
