Overview

This article briefly describes the abilities/permissions that people will have in Goals and Objectives.

If you can see an Objective in the Explore Goals Menu (My development > Goals > Explore Goals), you can access/view it. You will only see Objectives that you can view or edit here.

If the Goal is a Public Goal, any user can see it via the menu described above. However, Admins have access to see, edit, and delete, any Goal that is on the platform via the Goal Explorer.

For Personal and Individual Goals (private as well as public), Key Results are always owned by the Objective Owner. This means that any Key Result made on a Personal/Individual Objective belongs to the Objective owner, not the Key Result creator. (You can still view who created the Key Result in the Event Logs)

Group Goals & Group Key Result owners must be members of the selected Group. If you select "Group" as a Goal type, then you must select a specific Group. When doing so, the "Owner" of both the Goal itself and all its Key Results must be a member of that Group.

Only Managers and Members of a Group can create objectives for that Group.
