When you use eloomi through the MS Teams app, you will have the same experience as both admin and user as when you normally login to eloomi.

This articles covers the three areas that work slightly different when using eloomi for MS Teams, Navigation, Notifications and Links.

How the navigation work

When you are logged in to your user account, you find the familiar eloomi top menu and menu bars in the sides, inside of MS Teams.

Clicking the links in the menu will take you across the eloomi app in MS Teams.

The only navigation items that you will not find are the small notification icon (see next section) and the personal drop down menu with short cuts to my skills, settings and logout.

When you click the MS Teams navigation to the left or in the top menu, you will leave the eloomi app and return to MS Teams.

How notifications work

When using the eloomi app in MS Teams you do not have access to the notification menu in the top.

As a user you will be notified about new learning available, upcoming conversations, upcoming deadlines etc. through the regular notification emails sent from the system.

How links work

When your organization has enabled eloomi for MS Teams, all emails sent from the system will contain links that redirect you to the eloomi app in MS Teams.

This ensures you the most efficient and seamless experience.

When clicking a link in the email, and your are not logged in to MS Teams, it will take you to a browser.

In the browser you can chose if you want to open eloomi in the MS Teams app or with MS Teams in a browser.
