Teams app for eloomi allows your organisation and users to seamlessly login to your eloomi Learning environment and interact with courses, playlists from within the Teams app.
How to setup the app
Before downloading anything, there will be some steps you need to take. First, as an Admin on your Microsoft Teams/Entra account, you will need to navigate to your Microsoft Entra Admin Center. From here, you will need to click, Applications > App Registrations > New Registration.
Once you click New Registration, you should see something similar to the following:
For the name, you should use something similar to your platform. So for example, myeloomiplatform-TeamsApp. Also, make sure that the first option "Accounts in this organizationsl directory only" is selected. Once this is done, click Register at the bottom, and then navigate back to the left side bar, and select API Permissions:

In this this menu, you must verify that User.Read delegated permissions is set. Once this is verified, select Grand admin consent for eloomi A/S. Once this is complete, select in the left side bar again, Expose an API, it should bring you to this page:
Click on Add a scope, here you need to add your platform domain after api://, it should look like this:
Copy the all the text in the box, as we will need this later. Click save and continue, it should bring you to this page:
Here you can set the Scope name and other options. You can delegate this as you please. Once you are finished, click Add scope. After this is set, click Add a client application beneath the Scope area. Here you will need to use values to add the permissions to allow Calls for MS Teams Web and Mobile. Add both of these values individually:

When you add the values, ensure that on both of them, you are also selecting the box for your platform.
Once this is done, please reach out to us at support@eloomi.com or the Support Hub. We will finish some more of the setup on our side, before finalizing this all on your end. Once we prepare the configuration on our side, we will respond to you with a Zipped file which your MS Teams Admin can then import. Once this is complete, please follow the steps below.
Upload Infinite App into Teams
As an MS Teams admin, login to your teams then navigate to Developer Portal / Apps. From here, click Manage your apps > Upload an App
Then click select "Upload a custom app" and import the Zipped file that was sent to you.
Once this is complete, make sure you review your branding settings (names & icons) and then click Publish. Once it is published, you must navigate to https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/, click on Teams apps / Manage apps, find the eloomi App that you uploaded, and publish it. From there, you should be able to install the app for all the users in your organization automatically.
Once it is installed for all users, it should appear as so in Microsoft Teams:
Voila! You have now successfully installed your custom eloomi app into your Microsoft teams. Users can now log in and start completing learnings right from Teams!
