How to Enable External Certifications

Before you upload, you must first enable this feature. Navigate to Admin > Settings > Certificates > Settings > Then toggle the option on.

Once this is done, you will then be able to upload your own certificates!

How to Upload my own Certificate

You can upload Certificates in multiple areas in the platform. First we will start with the For You page. Navigate to For You > Certifications, here you will see a list of Certifications that you own.

It will show the name of the certificate, as well as the Expiry date and the Status. Clicking Upload Certificate will bring this menu up:

You will have to provide a photo, a title, issue date, expiry date, and an issuing institution. When you choose the expiry date, you also have the option to have the certificate never expire. Optionally, you can provide a Certificate ID and a Description.

Once you are done filling out the needed information, click Save. This will then upload the Certificate to the users account.

Reporting Areas

In Course, Playlist, and Events reporting, you are able to edit and upload certificates. For demonstration purposes, we will be looking at the Course reporting page.

Here you can see the courses that are on your platform, clicking the certificate icon will bring this menu up:

This is the Certificate reporting page that will show you some insights regarding Certificates accross the whole platform.

It will provide details such as the name of the certificate, if the certificate is renewable, how many users have the Certificate, and the completion rate of the course with that certificate across the whole platform.

Clicking any of the options will bring you to its respective reporting page.

This will show the names of users who have the certificate, as well as if they are enrolled into the course, the expiry date of the certificate, and the status of the certificate.

Clicking the three dots on the right of the right of any of the rows will bring up a Show History button. Here you will see the user's history with that certificate.

You can also download the Certificate from the same menu:

Bringing it back to the main page, you can see the Upload Certificate option here:

Clicking it will bring the same customization menu as described in the first section of this article.
