How to Customize the Learner Dashboard

This article describes how to customize your learner dashboard on eloomi Infinite!

Overview


Admins are now able to customize learner dashboards/user homepages easily via the Branding page. You are able to customize the welcome message and you can hide and reorder sections as well!


How to Customize the Welcome Message


First, navigate to Admin > Settings > Branding. From here, scroll down till you see these options:

Click on "Edit" on the Welcome tab, it should bring you here:

You can toggle this on or off, when it is on, it will appear as it does above. Once enabled, you will see the options to customize the message. There are also tags that will fill in the information for the user, making it dynamic for each user.

#firstName - Fills in the user's first name

#lastName - Fills in the user's last name

#platformName - Fills in the platform name

Keep in mind that Custom Messages are not translated.

Once you are finished setting it up, click "Save Changes", it will bring you back to this page and will also show you an example of what your message will look like:

How to Arrange Learning Items


Once you set up your custom message, it is time to rearrange a bit! You can do this simply by dragging and dropping in the order you would like them to be in!

If you would prefer to not see any of these tabs, you can click the "eye" icon on the right to hide it from the learner's view.

Some sections require specific criteria for users to see them. The Admin will be able to see all sections while editing, but may not see all sections on their home page.

Keep in mind that the Welcome section cannot be moved and is defaulted to the first position. When an option is hidden, it will be slightly greyed out so the admin can clearly distinguish what is being shown and what is not.
