Overview

In the Infinite platform you can customize Cover Images for Courses, Learning Plans and Events.

For all type of Learning content, the Landing Page will appear similar as below:

The Cover Image appears in full view on the top-left corner of the page. If you are using the eloomi Infinite app on a mobile device, the landing page will be slightly adjusted to fit the screen.

The Cover Image is displayed in other places as well such as under the Home, Learn, and Reports sections and the Content lists in Admin > Learning.

Recommended Image Sizes in Infinite

In general, it is recommended to use a 376px by 306px image size or 768px by 624px for high resolution displays.

If you want to use an image of a different size, you may do so but make sure that you follow the platform's fixed image aspect ratios outline below as all images will be automatically adjusted to fit.

1.23

1.23

1.32

The optimal aspect ratio is 1.23 for vertical cropping or 1.32 for horizontal cropping.

  • If your image's original aspect ratio is 1.23, then it will be displayed as is on all Landing Pages and Learning Cards, but it will be slightly cropped vertically in the Learning Lists.

  • If your image's aspect ratio is 1.32, the image will not be cropped in the Learning Lists, but it will be cropped on the sides of the Landing Pages and Learning Cards.

Best Practice

  • When you upload images to the platform, remember that the most visually important part of your image should be located in the center for minimal cropping to be applied to your images.

  • It is recommended to avoid having borders on your image since they will be cropped on some of the views.
