Configuration on the LinkedIn side

First, on the LinkedIn side, you will need to complete some steps. Log in to your LinkedIn account and navigate to Settings > Integrate > Playback Integrations > Configure AICC. Then add the relevant data under Hostname(s):

Once this is complete, you will need to set the AICC Version to 2.5

For your convenience, the relevant LinkedIn URL for this step is:

After setting the AICC Version to 2.5, proceed to Settings > Integrate > API Application Provision, and create the eloomi application by clicking on Add application.

For your convenience, the relevant LinkedIn URL for this step is:

Once you add the Application Name and Application Description, make sure you enable Content and Report, before clicking on Next.

Once you set the Application Name and description, you will be done with the setup on LinkedIn's side and can proceed to the next steps.

In Settings > Integrate > Playback Integrations > Configure AICC > Hostname(s), you will need to configure two hostnames:
1. Your eloomi domain — for example: customer.eloomi.io or customurl.com
2. The correct API hostname, depending on the region where your platform is hosted.

(If you do not know this information, please reach out to eloomi Support)

  • persona-api.eloomi.io – for Europe

  • persona-api.us.eloomi.io – for the US

  • persona-api.ca.eloomi.io – for Canada

  • persona-api.au.eloomi.io – for Australia

Configuration on the eloomi side

Once you have finalized the settings in your LinkedIn Learning Admin account, navigate within your eloomi platform to Admin > Integrations > LinkedIn Learning.

Provide the client ID and client secret for the application added in the LinkedIn Learning admin panel. Then, select the languages of courses that you would like to import.

If any incorrect details are provided, you will see the below message:

However, if the data is correct, you should see this on the second page:

Here, you can specify the Open for Self-enrollment settings and Manager-enrollment settings. In addition to enrollment settings, you can enable Auto tagging options for both Skills and Categories & Topics.

IMPORTANT! If you enable Auto-tagging options in the LinkedIn Learning integration configuration, this will consequently mean that manual edits and/or additions of Skills and/or Topics will be overwritten each time the integration is synced. To avoid this, simply do not enable Auto-tagging.

Once you configure the settings and click Confirm, it will finalize the setup and should look like this on the LinkedIn Learning Integrations page:

After completing the setup, if you need to modify any of the settings, simply navigate back to Admin > Integrations > LinkedIn Learning and click Settings:

In this menu, you can edit all the Integration settings:
