How to enable LinkedIn Learning

Overview

With the LinkedIn Learning integration you can consolidate your learning resources in eloomi to provide a seamless learning experience for the user.

As an admin or L&D professional, you can easily manage LinkedIn Learning content through the eloomi learner experience and enable group course assignments, self-signup, and automatic synchronization of Skills, course descriptions, and topics. Learn how to manage content from LinkedIn Learning.

Please note: To integrate LinkedIn Learning, your organization needs a valid LinkedIn Learning subscription.


Configuration on the LinkedIn side

First, on the LinkedIn side, you will need to complete some steps. Log in to your LinkedIn account and navigate to Settings > Integrate > Playback Integrations > Configure AICC > Then add the relevant data under Hostname(s):

Once that is complete, you will need to set the AICC Version to 2.5

After that is set to 2.5, Proceed to 'Settings' > 'Integrate' > 'API Application Provision', and create the eloomi application by clicking on 'Add application'.

Once you add the Application Name and Application Description, make sure you enable Content and Report, before clicking on Next.

Once you set the Application Name and description, you will be done with the setup on LinkedIn's side and can proceed to the next steps.

Configuration on the eloomi side

Once you have finalized the settings in your LinkedIn Learning Admin account, navigate within your eloomi platform to Admin > Integrations > LinkedIn Learning.

Provide the client ID and client secret for the application added in the LinkedIn Learning admin panel. Then, select the languages of courses that you would like to import.

If the incorrect details are provided, you will see the below message:

However, if the data is correct you should see this on the second page:


Here, you can specify the Open Enrollment settings and manager enrollment settings. Once you set these, and click confirm, it will finalize the setup and should look like this on the LinkedIn Learning Integrations page:

Once you see this screen, you have completed the setup for LinkedIn Learning!
