How do I create a Group Chat/Thread?

To create a Group Chat, navigate to Messaging, then click the New Message icon, and add the people you want to chat with.

Once you send the Message, you will see that a new thread has been created. Inside the thread, you have a few options. Working from the left side of the screen to the right, we see a list of People or Groups we have already messaged/a list of your existing threads. Here you can search for specific people or groups, and also create a new message. Moving over to the right side, we can see the names of the People included in the thread. This will also display the number of people in the chat and the Group name if there is one. To edit a Group name, click the (i) icon on the right side of the bar.

This will slide a menu over with options to edit the name of the group.

In the Members tab, you can also add Members as well as delete them/remove them from the Group. To delete a Member, simply scroll over their name, click the three dots, then click Remove member. This will then prompt you to confirm the change. Please note that they will no longer be able to access, view, or send a message in that Group chat again until they are re-added.

To add a Member, click the + Add Members button in either the main page on the top bar, or the slide menu that appears when you click the (i) icon.

Here, you can see a drop-down menu for every person on the platform. You can select whoever and however many you want to be in the thread. In the case you were added to a Group chat you do not wish to be a part of, simply navigate back to the (i) menu, scroll down, and click Leave chat.

This will prompt you to leave the chat again. Keep in mind that you cannot get access to the messages again until you are re-invited to the Group chat.
