Overview
You can add images and videos to create more engaging posts or share additional information. Adding visual elements to your post helps get the message across.
You can add videos or images from your existing libraries and folders on your smartphone, or you can upload / record images or videos while creating the post.
How to add images and videos
When creating a post, you can attach images, videos and files, Promote learning, Poll, and Categories. Learn the basics of how to create a post.
To add a images and videos to your post, simply press the blue Images & videos icon at the bottom, when creating or editing your post.
Now, you can select if you want to:
Record video for the post
Take image for the post
Images & videos add an existing element from the photo library on your smartphone.
Selecting Record video or Take image will automatically open the camera or video functionality on your smartphone.
Please note: You may need to permit the eloomi app access to your camera. Follow the instructions on your smartphone or go the settings menu of your smartphone and select the eloomi app
Selecting Images & videos will open a media gallery from your smartphone from which you can browse and select images and videos.
You can select multiple videos and images from the gallery. When pressing Add at the top of your screen (may vary depending on your smartphone and language settings), you have added the images or videos to your post.
You can add up to 10 images in a post. Learn more about which files and formats are supported.
Please note: You may need to permit the eloomi app access to your image galleries/libraries. Follow the instructions on your smartphone or go the settings menu of your smartphone and select the eloomi app
How to add files
To add a file to your post, simply press the yellow File icon at the bottom, when creating or editing your post.
Now, you can select if you want to add:
Photo or video from your Photo Library
An element you capture through Take Photo or Video
Other files from your smartphone folders with Choose Files.
Selecting Choose Files will open your smartphone folders from which you can browse and select files.
You can select multiple files at once. When pressing Add at the top of your screen (may vary depending on your smartphone and language settings), you have added the files your post, and users can access or download the files by pressing and holding the elements on the screen.
You can add up to 10 files in a post. Learn more about which files and formats are supported.
If you choose images or videos from the File menu, they will appear as files and not be visual elements in your post.
Please note: You may need to permit the eloomi app access to your folders. Follow the instructions on your smartphone or go the settings menu of your smartphone and select the eloomi app
