What is open/closed for sign-up?

Open/closed for sign-up allows the creator of the event/session to enable or disable the sign-up option for the event.

This can be enabled in either the creation step of the session or in the settings menu when you edit the event.

If the sign-up option is closed, this is what the user will see on their end when they attempt to sign up:

If the “Waiting List” option is enabled, they can sign up for the waiting list here.
