Overview

You can use community feeds for pulse surveys or to quickly collect feedback by attaching a Poll to your post. You can add one Poll to each post and combine the post with learning content, images, and video.

How to Create a Poll

When creating a post, you can attach images & videos, Promote learning, Poll, and Categories. Learn the basics of how to create a post.

To add a Poll to your post, simply press the purple Poll icon at the bottom, when creating or editing your post.

Now, you can add your poll question at the top, and add possible answers below. If you need more possible answers, press + Add another answer. You can add up to 10 possible answers.

You can also select if respondents can make multiple or single selections, and select if you want to define a closing time and date for your poll.

Once you are done editing your poll, click Done at the top right of this window.

Please note: You can add only one Poll to each Post.

Once you are done adding content to your post, you can publish it by pressing Post or Update in the top right corner.

Now, you have created a Poll in a post!

How to vote and view results of a Poll

Once you have published your Poll, everyone with access to the activity feed can see your poll and submit a vote.

Once a user has voted, they will also be able to see the current results of your poll. The user vote is final, once submitted, it is not possible to update the choice.

When users select the answer and press submit, they will be asked to confirm their choice.

As the author of the poll, you can always see the votes, also in cases where you have defined a closing time, and the poll is closed.

How to Edit a Poll

Once you have posted your poll, you can no longer edit it.

However, you can always delete your poll. Please note, that this will also delete all feedback/answers in the Poll.
