Deadlines can be added to learning plan assignments. When creating a learning plan, you have the option to set a deadline while assigning the learning plan.


How do I add Deadlines to Learning Plans?


You can find this menu by navigating to Admin > Learning > Learning Plans, then assigning the learning plan to the user(s).

Deadlines can be added via individual assignments or in group assignments with learning plans. If a person is assigned via multiple groups to the same learning plan (or assigned directly and/or via a group assignment) then the earliest deadline will take precedence over the others.

Just like with courses, learning plans with deadlines will show their deadline to the user on the learning plan card shown on the Home, Learn, and Learning Plan landing pages:

Learning Plans that contain upcoming deadlines for any given user will also be included in the email that is sent out to people to remind them that they have an upcoming deadline.
